Luton Hoo hideaway

COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL Luton Hoo, in Bedfordshire, has added a £20 million, dedicated purpose-built meetings facility to its grounds. Warren Weir comprises 84 bedrooms, with five function rooms, a kitchen, and fitness facilities in an adjacent building. The largest meeting space is the Lea Suite, which holds 388 theatre-style.

There is wifi throughout. The facility is removed from the distractions of the hotel, but overlooks a lake and 1,065 acres of parkland, where activities such as canoeing, clay pigeon shooting and motorised sports can be arranged.

The nearby woods are to be made available for paintballing and a range of other team-building pursuits.
