SWISSOTEL'S GRAND EFES HOTEL at Izmir, in Turkey, has added a purpose-built convention centre, with seating for up 3,000 people.

With function space totalling 7,299m2, it comprises a ballroom and a multi-purpose hall, ten meeting rooms, three boardrooms and an exhibition area of 1,457m2. One of the first major events to be staged there was the recent launch of the new BMW 7 series.
