ANYONE FOR POLO?

CORPORATE HOSPITALITY organisers, event planners and team builders looking for something different can now add polo lessons to the list of options. The Felbridge Hotel and Spa, near East Grinstead and less than 15 minutes from Gatwick, is promoting polo breaks until the end of September. The package includes overnight accommodation, breakfast and a polo lesson for £168 - or £73 for partners who don't fancy the polo part.

The Sussex Polo Club, in Rowfant, West Sussex, was created by Duane and Sallie Anne Lent after a family holiday to a polo ranch in Argentina inspired them to try and recreate the more informal and relaxed atmosphere they found there. The objective is to encourage more people to take up the sport and to try and shed its tag as an "exclusive" pastime.
