STATION HOTEL COMPANY Sleeperz has opened its first property, with 74 rooms, at Cardiff Central station. Published rates range between £55 and £115 a night and rooms come with free wi-fi and UK calls.

Further Sleeperz hotels, vaguely positioned "between budget and four-star", are planned for Manchester, Newcastle, and Birmingham. The properties are purposebuilt on Network Rail-owned sites at or near stations.
