HILTON ADDS TWO NEW BRANDS

HILTON HOTELS CORPORATION (HHC) has unveiled two new brands, Denizen Hotels and Home2 Suites by Hilton. Denizen joins Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels and Resorts at the top end of the market, with a London site already under negotiation.

Home2 is described as a mid-tier, extended-stay concept targeting the "savvy, value-wise guest".

Ten franchise applications had been received in advance of the launch, with HHC confident of sealing up to 15 deals this spring. Initially focused on the US, Home2 will then expand into Canada and Mexico before going global.
