Travelodge gives bookers a clue

TRAVELODGE has launched an iPhone service that allows travellers to locate the nearest properties to them and book rooms. Travelodge iBooker uses global positioning satellite technology to find the five closest Travelodges, and then checks availability and rates before switching to a simple three-step booking process.

Travelodge UK managing director Guy Parsons said: "With the launch of iBooker, Travelodge continues to pioneer the industry by making its hotels even more accessible. With iBooker, wherever you are, you can always find a low-cost bed."
