NEW FAST-TRACK BMI CHECK-IN AT T1

BMI'S new premium check-in area at Heathrow's Terminal 1 offers Business Class travellers the option to arrive as little as 30 minutes before departure.

The fast-track facility, which is also available to Premium Economy customers as well as Bmi Diamond Club gold and silver cardholders, provides a more personalised service, too, with staff collecting luggage and travel documents from customers on arrival.

The carrier claims there are now fewer delays in Terminal 1 following various airline moves at Heathrow, which have resulted in a reduction in the overall number of passengers. The terminal is now handling around 14 million passengers a year as opposed to 23 million at its peak in 2007.
