LUFTHANSA SWITCHES FROM LCY TO LHR FOR BERLIN ROUTE
LUFTHANSA'S London-Berlin operation will switch from London City to Heathrow to allow the introduction of Airbus A319s, which will increase capacity on the route by 50 per cent. Lufthansa Italia will also be operating from Heathrow to Milan Malpensa.
The German flag-carrier is also adding a third daily flight between Edinburgh and Frankfurt and, from June 20, operating a seasonal service between Inverness and Düsseldorf as part of a summer upgrade of its ex-UK schedules.
