CELEBRATING SUCCESS CWT-STYLE

A PARTY TO CELEBRATE the culmination of Carlson Wagonlit Travel UK's HighFlyers staff recognition progamme was held amid the illustrious company of the great and the good - at Madame Tussauds in London.

Throughout 2008 staff nominated their colleagues for going "above and beyond" and 100 finalists were treated to a night to remember as they dined among the 'stars'.

The ultimate HighFlyer and overall winner of the programme was Philomena Harte, a section manager from CWT's Hotel Service Centre in Manchester, for what was described as "her dedication in setting up a new team, her boundless enthusiasm and the way she motivates others around her".

Andrew Waller, executive vice president UK and Ireland, told the gathering: "We find ourselves in challenging times, but it is Carlson Wagonlit Travel UK's people that set us apart as they are focused on giving the best possible service to our customers - it is right that we recognise and reward their commitment."
