Exclusively yours
A NEW WEB-BASED SERVICE promoting the exclusive use of venues, including hotels, manor houses, stately homes and even castles, is aimed at corporate event planners and organisers.
ExclusiveUse.com, headed by Business Travel Show founder and publisher Ian Dockreay, is a one-stop shop for companies seeking the privacy, security and tailor-made arrangements only possible when a property is booked for sole use.
"More than ever during a major economic downturn, organisers of meetings, incentives and training events should seek truly memorable venues for better value," says Dockreay. "Having a property to yourselves for 24 hours or longer can provide significant benefits, as well as being surprisingly cost-effective."
Event organisers can view the location, capacity and price of each property before compiling a shortlist and checking real-time availability. ExclusiveUse is also happy to work with event management companies to ensure they achieve the best terms when considering properties for sole use.
Business activities can be combined with social events ideal for company incentives or corporate hospitality. These might include visits to nearby horse-racing or other sporting fixtures, golf courses, shooting estates or music festivals taking place in the surrounding area.
The company is constantly adding to its portfolio of venues and its current lead-in price is £5,000 for 24-hour use, with half-board, of an exquisite 17th-century manor house in the West Country. Amberley Castle, in West Sussex, can be yours from approximately £12,000 - a small price to pay for the ultimate in exclusivity.
