Fourth Taj for Chennai

TAJ HOTELS has added 220 much needed rooms in Chennai (formerly known as Madras), India's fourth largest city.

The new hotel (which joins three other Taj properties in the city) is on Clubhouse Road in the main business district, and has been designed with the corporate traveller in mind. Rooms include 16 suites and a presidential suite, and there is a 3,300ft2 function room and a number of boardrooms.

The city is a major centre for car, technological goods and hardware manufacturing, as well as healthcare products.
