Yotel goes airside

YOTEL, DESCRIBED as the "iPod of the hotel industry", has opened its first airside property at Amsterdam Schiphol.

Like those at Gatwick and Heathrow last year, the new pod hotel features cabin-style accommodation which can be booked for a minimum four-hour period, with standard, premium or family options available.

The 57 cabins, which are located within the terminal at Schiphol, feature free wifi and wired internet access and fl at-screen TVs. Despite the minimalist approach, each has an en suite shower. Rates are from €35 (£27.50).
