It's the biz
A 44-SEAT all-Business Class Boeing 737-300QC has been added to the fl eet of Stansted-based charter specialist Titan Airways. The aircraft, which is expected to appeal to organisers of events, including incentives and product launches, follows a £500,000 refit.
"It is ideal for the corporate charter market," says Spencer Arnold, sports travel manager from brokers Hunt & Palmer. And according to Trevor Wright, from Planesense, the cabin has a "real look of Ferrari about it - extremely stylish".
Titan's customised 737 features two club-four seat arrangements at the front, with a coffee table that can convert to a full working/dining table for each setting. A fixed divider separates these seats from the main cabin, which offers 36 forward facing seats with a pitch of around 62 inches - almost twice that of an average 737. The leather-upholstered seats all come with power connectivity for laptops, electronic equipment or portable in-fl ight entertainment units. The aircraft has a range of approximately four-and-a-half-hours.
