Beijing Welcomes its first Maritim Hotel

MARITIM HOTELS' first venture in the Far East opens this summer in Beijing. The German-based group will manage a 362-room property in the city's Chaoyang Business District, opposite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and among 56 embassies.

The top three floors of the 18-storey building will be allocated to executive rooms and will also accommodate a lounge and business centre. Function space includes a 560m² ballroom and various meeting rooms ranging from 60m² to 105m². Additionally, there will be a fitness centre and 25m pool.

Maritim operates a total of 50 hotels, the majority in Germany, but with 13 in overseas locations, mainly in leisure destinations.
